Tweed-tastic

Tweed jacket, Thrifted • Tank top, Zara • Bodycon skirt, K2 • Peeptoe heels/Sling bag, Call It Spring

A tweed jacket is a must-have fashionable cover-up staple this season. The best way to wear this is by pairing it with a plain non-patterned top. Pick out a dominant color from the jacket's weaves and use this as a base for your outfit. To give it a modern flare, wear a tweed jacket with a neon tank and put on a pair of plain black bottoms and shoes. These combination gives the jacket a playful edge. Jazz up the look by accessorizing with a colorful chunky necklace or colorful bracelets.

I wore this on group dinner date with few of my blogger friends at Yabu. It's probably one of the best dinner I've ever had because of the special treat from Yabu and of course, great talk and laugh with my friends. Will blog about my katsu craze experience at Yabu after this post.

    Love the tweed! My mom has one that's like oversized and I've been thinking of having it tailored or something :) Really love the outfit Kaye! I'm not brave enough to wear neon, I'm always so hesitant about stuff, I'll eventually try it :)
