Travel Diary: Zooba

Hats off to this little store which has reinvented authentic Egyptian food staples of beans, bread and macaroni into a with a funky modern twist. 

Though thousands of restaurants serve foul and falafel, but Zooba really distinguished itself with its interior design and its genuine way of blending traditions 

with modern tastes. We ate here twice and both times the food and service were very good. You will always walk away feeling like you've just treated yourself 

to a very uniquely modern Egyptian experience, recommended for anyone who wants to try Egyptian food.

Travel Diary: The Revolving Restaurant - Grand Nile Tower

First of all, I apologize for the quality of these photos as it was so hard to shoot under low light condition, I mean.. these photos doesn't do justice!
(Anyway, moving on..) We had dinner here. Food was nice, bit costly but nonetheless, it's good and well presented (by the way, they serve French Cuisine).
More than the food it is the wonderful panoramic view that one can enjoy in this restaurant, you see Cairo in a different way.
It is an experience you need to live, the place is so romantic, and view of Cairo at night is just spectacular.

Travel Diary: Villa Belle Époque

We had dinner at this place to celebrate my parents anniversary. This restaurant is located on a quiet street in Maadi, a Cairo suburb. 

It's a lovingly restored villa that is quite charming and beautifully furnished, perfect for an intimate dinner. The dinner menu has a good range
of food to choose from, food was delicious and service was exceptional. Would have no hesitation in recommending this place to other travelers.

Traveling for long hours can make you look sluggish but there is absolutely no reason to look like a slob when you get on that plane. 

To ease the pain of traveling, I like to keep my look simple and comfy. I like to wear mostly black when I travel.
