Show your Stripes

Zara buttonup shirt / Bench pants / Aldo sneakers / Forever 21 necklace, chain bracelet and rings / Robinsons belt

One the top trends emerging for Spring Summer 2013 and my personal favorite, is black and white stripes. Stripes are always fun and black and white is always classic, but adding in the graphic element of variegated stripes makes a huge statement. I am in love with this kind of piece that always gives anyone who wears it a fun, edgy look.

There is no hiding from attention with this print. Its' sexy and heavy-duty detail will make any girl stand out from the crowd.
Don’t add any bold accessories with this, it’s already an eye-catcher on it’s own.

Camouflage

Redhead buttondown sleeveless shirt / Zara pants / People are People heels / Rock the Sparks necklace

Camo, as they call it now is a strong trend in Menswear in the past but now it’s almost everywhere in women’s fashion. The print is somewhat of a companion trend to the recent military obsession, it's also gained a lot of popularity all on its own. It’s endless possibility to style and it’s grunge-punk kinda attitude really never got old. I've been really diggin' everything military style these days. I've been on a hunt for the perfect camouflage pants for ages and just last week, I stumbled upon this amazing one at Zara. This has got to be my favorite fall trend of all! Expect for more military inspired style outfits from me! (You've been warned).

This is one of the looks you will spot me in on a chill day when I'm just hanging out with my friends doing spontaneous things. Totally Tropical

Dress, Zara • Heels, People are People • Cuff/Bangle, SM Accessories

With temperatures skyrocketing quicker than ever (yesterday was recorded hottest day of the year) and with the incredible sunshine we were treated to these past few days, it feels like the perfect time to get stuck in to the best of the sunniest summer trends. And one of the hottest right now, are Tropical prints! These prints has got to be one of my favorite trends this summer. Wearing these makes the hot weather feel like easy breezy. These prints might be bold, but the styling tips are easy- since the tropical-print piece already have a lot going on, juxtapose the elaborate pattern with solid colors. Simply pair these printed pieces with minimal accessories and strappy heels for a chic and modern take on the trend and also for a standout ensemble.
